외국인 유학생 건강보험 당연가입 안내 공지

2021년 3월 1일부터는 한국에 체류하는 외국인 유학생의 건강보험 당연가입제도가 실시됩니다. 

따라서 D-2 비자 소지자 중 기존 체류자는 3월 1일부터, 신규 입국자는 외국인등록일로부터 국민건강보험에 자동 가입되므로 별도의 가입 신청은 필요없습니다.

건강보험 납입고지서는 등록된 체류지 주소로 매월 11-15일 경, 우편 발송됩니다. 

이와 관련하여 전자고지로 수령 방식을 바꾸거나, 자동이체로 보험료 납입을 희망하는 경우에는 아래를 참고하여 국민건강보험에 직접 신청하시기 바랍니다.

* 국민건강보험은 건강보험공단에서 제공하는 의료보험으로, 학교의 단체보험과는 무관합니다.

* 건강보험은 신청하지 않아도 자동 가입되며, 학교 단체보험은 아래 공지를 통해 직접 신청하셔야 합니다. 두 개의 보험 모두 의무입니다.

1. 고지서 송달지 신청

- 기본적으로 고지서는 등록관청(주민센터/출입국사무소 등)에 신고한 체류지로 발송

- 등록된 체류지와 실제 거주하는 주소가 다를 경우 신청

2. 전자고지 신청

- 고지서를 우편으로 수령하기 어려운 경우

- 이메일/모바일 고지서 신청 가능

3. 자동이체 신청

- 편리한 보험료 납부 및 체납 방지

- 환급계좌 등록으로 빠른 환불 처리

* 공단 홈페이지/모바일 THE 건강보험 어플 신청: 공동인증서(금융기관) 필요

* 유선/팩스/방문 신청: 공인인증서 필요 없음, 방문이나 팩스는 지사 또는 외국인민원센터 이용

Notice for International Students Subscribing to National Health Insurance

From March 1st 2021, foreign students residing in Korea become subject to the mandatory subion to the National Health Insurance for granted. 

As to D-2 holders, existing residents are automatically enrolled in NHI from March 1st and new entrants will be enrolled from the date of alien registration. 

There is no need to apply for NHI individually.

Basically the payment invoice will be mailed to the registered address by post, about 11th-15th of each month. 

You can change the method of billing to electronic system(email/mobile) and also the paying method to automatic transfer connected with your account/card.

Regarding how to apply for each service, please refer to the following.

* National Health Insurance is provided by the National Health Insurance Service, not related to Sogang Universty and our group insurance.

* Dont apply for National Health Insurance, you will be automatically enrolled. But for Sogang Group Insurance, you must apply individually via the notice below. Both insurances are mandatory.
